We've had some amazing bands play for us in the two years we've been running this event:- Kingcats, Rockin' The Joint, Devils Cut Combo to name just a few. This year is no exception

Cooking Jack Fats & The Chimney Stacks

This band have played for us at two Jive Parties with great feedback from everyone. A seven piece Rhythm & Blues Band from Nottingham, playing authentic 1950's jump jive hits that keep the dance floor busy.

MFC CHICKEN

Named after a take-away in Holloway Road, this crazy bunch are taking the world by storm.

Selling out everywhere and playing all the big festivals they have a very unique late 50's/early 60's R&B/Ska sound that will literally blow your socks off.

With most songs they play about chicken, there's a theme going on here.

So come armed with your rubber chickens.

You'll never forget them!

Named after the train to Chicago that transported blues legend Muddy Waters to his new life as a professional musician "Muddy boarded the Chicago", Chicago 9 brings you a comprehensive selection of Blues mixed with some good time Rhythm & Blues, Original compositions and just a sprinkling of Rock 'n' Roll.

THE JIVE ROMEROS

We're totally honoured to have these legends headline for us at this years DOWNTOWN JUMP!

The Jive Romeros have truly mastered their solid swinging mix of classic American and early British Rock 'n' Roll styles, and have become the best band in their genre, always in demand for rockin' events where they always guarantee a packed dancefloor.

Rockin' dance venues for over 20 years, and only playing about six gigs each year and never in the same area.
